San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) Launches MCCYN-PLUS to Expand Child Care Options for Military Families SDCOE is excited to announce the launch of the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood-PLUS (MCCYN-PLUS) initiative. This initiative aims to support eligible military families by providing greater access to high-quality, affordable child care in their communities. Funded and operated by the Department of Defense (DoD), MCCYN-PLUS also offers fee assistance to help reduce out-of-pocket child care expenses.

Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, world-wide organization, whose work is focused on ensuring quality educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and transition.

A personal and family readiness tool, Military OneSource extends the existing family support system. Programs provided are especially beneficial to those geographically separated from installation services or those unable to seek assistance during traditional working hours.
